Pleasure Island Entertainment Complex closed on September 28, 2008 to undergo a two-year renovation project, which is still in progress. Some of the old associated entertainment and nightlife venues were closed permanently, but a few restaurants and shops, such as Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant and Orlando Harley Gear Store remain open throughout the renovation.
